What time? Last night we had a good time but there were a few asshats that jumped in that I had to give the boot. If that get's bad this Winter we may have to do a password.

I'm thinking we'll have to do another multi-sesh tonight. Who's in?
I have actually grad-e-ated to being able to do rolling harrier circles. Mucho appreciato Mr. Wiles.... Both left and right aileron rolls are coming along not too shabby. I am so not even to the point of doing loops but there is one thing I need help with for now. In doing a rolling harrier, can someone...."ANYONE" offer some advice on how to preform this maneuver correctly without ending up going in a circle? I originally started practicing doing rolling circles with just aileron...then with just rudder as per Terry's suggestions. After just banging the sticks and tossing the planes every which way to understand which direction the plane is going to go next, It just came on like a light bulb and just started progressing from there. I would really like to understand how and what it is that I am either doing, or not doing that keeps me from doing a rolling harrier in just a straight line. Ya know? Like down the center line of the runway. So....jump in here everyone. Help an old guy dude learn some new tricks.

It does but one thing I have been doing is not only using down elevator to steer. But up as well. If you happen to be on multiplayer later, maybe you would take the time to watch my radio and the plane and help me understand just a wee bit better? Thanks Terry....You must be getting close on timing since your doing circles. Most people I know steer with down elevator ( including myself). Agree with Xpress, work on finding the perfect amount of rudder, not too much and not too little. Then steer with down elevator.....I find it really easy to watch the plane and "push" the elevator stick just a little more at the right time.
If you are rolling right you watch for the right wing to be just passing being pointed at the ground and you should be just feeding in your down elevator and you will push it just a hair further than the up elevator to push the nose straight. If you roll left better like me you time on that left wing.
Once you get it you don't even have to focus. Hope this makes sense.
So I am discovering. Oh and lots....LOTS of resets on the radio. LOLIts All in the timing. I use the rudder to go straight and up/down elevator to steer and also to maintain high alpha. It just takes lots of practice!
