As you can see some of the alignments are off. That is just a matter of trial and error with this particular scheme :)

@thurmma I used to modify planes back on RF 5 or something, are the "skins" still a flat file with the parts strewn all around it? If so what are the file names I'd be looking for?

@SleepyC Yes they are still a flat file. You are looking for .tga files. I am not sure how the file structure is laid out on a Mac, but on a pc with Windows 7 Pro, you go to your Documents library and open the RF 7.5 folder. Then you go to the Vehicles folder and then to the schemes folder. The only file you need to edit is the .tga file. What I do is take the scheme that I want to modify and save the scheme as a different name. This way I will always have the original to fly with also. I am using Photoshop CS5 and create separate layers for each section if I am just doing a color change.

If I am doing a complete redesign like this scheme, I will create separate layers for each piece that I am modifying. Yes, it takes some time, but in the end, I can change the color at any time for the new scheme I created rather quickly :)

Really nice... I need to learn how to do this !
If you have access to graphics editing software that will allow you to create separate layers, it makes it a lot easier to do. It can be done without creating the layers, but it takes a lot longer and can be VERY tedious.
