Man why don't we have clubs like that here in the Socialist Party of California

That sucks if you don't stay out that late and BS. We fly until the sun won't let us anymore and then talk a while. It is probably because you can fly all year round mostly and we have limited time so we make the most of it. Our real flying season will start in a couple weeks and then the wind starts also, so we have to take advantage of every chance we get.

We normally work m-f down this way as well, some of us have to work to help you with your RC related problems

I only get out to fly on sat and sun up til about 1ish in the afternoon each day. Would be nice if a local club did more flying in the afternoon.

There are a handful of us at our club that are either retired or work flexible schedules that fly 4-5 days a week. We fly in the mornings typically and are done by around 1 when the wind picks up. Evenings aren't usually good for flying here because of the wind. With that much time at the field, we get our share of flying in and still find plenty of time to BS. We tend to be there during the week when we have the field to ourselves, on the weekend it's a completely different crowd of people. I enjoy both crowds, but prefer our small group that flies regularly as opposed to the CJs and FOGs on the weekends.

Opposite here, work mornings, morning crew usually leave field abandoned by 10-11:00AM. Most of the time I show up at 4:00 and am the only one there unless Eric or Robbins shows up. The LAW is normally there but she takes pics and hangs out till miller time. I put lights outside my trailer so I would not have to stop flying / clean up till I cand see the ignitions kill light.
