Nice idea like that learned something again, thanks for the suggestion.

Why is there a ring on the cutting wire in the center.

I use the ring as a pivot point when cutting high taper parts like rudders.

installed some shear webbing , more to do and installed the socket end cap

right now I can't do anything more until I get the balsa sheeting and other balsa blocks to cut my own size of wood, from Balsa USA

long delay, but received the balsa last week, here is the first installment of the first wing

Like your idea of making a press out of the top cuts. May try that in the future. That would work well with with all wing types as well.
