Are you making small parts on lathe?

yes all cable connectors I made on the lathe, the cable tightning screw is brass I simply took an ordinary screw drilled through it for the cable, and turned smooth the big end and knurled , these by the way were on my trusty other laser for 10 years and never had a problem , on this laser the only change on them is the kevlar cable itself since they are too short , but not a big deal to do

I am no different I will always add some thing that benefits the plane and I have on several occasions changed the engine size if possible to compensate for nose weight.

I'm still lathe shopping but struggling on size decision. Your lathe seems decent size and apparently can cut tiny parts.

yes I think most lathes can work with very small pieces, as long the chucks can close to zero, here I posted some of the small pieces for the tail wheel of the Dalotel which is the tiny grease zerts ,

I agree with two, I wish I had the room for a small one

Disagree, a better bigger one will make all the small parts you need. It will cost you twice as much to tool both.

I had to use my tiny inline camera to look inside the wing , I was looking for which wing panel had the hole through the shear web to fit the Pitot tube, worked out nicely

one wing covered and hinged but not glued yet , also missing are the black stripes on the aileron
