Sorry for the delay in pictures, I have made some progress in the last day after a super busy work week. Will post some more pics later today. I was able to get the leading and trailing edges installed, sanded and all surfaces sanded. All control surfaces cut and I spent about 6 hours with AutoCAD, caluclators, rulers etc. to draw up the hing assemblies. After all that a few minutes in the laser and an hour to glue and they are ready to install......complete with split ailerons I think the Delrin bearings are absolutely the way to go, they are a little difficult to cut but are super super smooth. I can see these lasting for many years without getting sloppy.

Sorry, I had some work to get done, then that funny thing in the sky (the sun) was shining, flag was hanging and the air outside did not hurt so I went flying instead. We'll get some more done later this week.

LOL, I wish! I actually was going to head out to maiden the Viper but am glad I didn't with the condition of things out there. Will let it dry out for a week or two yet till I can get my trailer in there.

Well got distracted with a beautiful day, skipped out on work and went flying so now I'm behind with work. But we had an awesome time!!!

I spent about an hour before I left the shop tonight finishing up the hinge assemblies. They are wrapped with balsa, cut out and test fit with each other. Just maybe have time later tomorrow to get them installed so I can get back to work on the fuse.
