Closer, got the stabs hinged except the overhang on the stab part. Have to wrap up some work and I'll try to get the ailerons done tonight. They are a little more complicated with the split so we'll see how it comes out.

Sorry taking quite a bit of thread space for the pocket hinges. I will offer them as an option after a year of testing but the MXS is actually designed for standard hinges and kits will have dimensions for their installation. Pocket hinges require 200% more accuracy and thought so I would only sell that option to an experienced builder. After flight testing we should have kits available for the MXS-ST by late summer for your next building season pleasure

All surfaces are glued up, just need some end caps and the little overhang in front of the radius along with some tri-stock. I'll get it mocked up tomorrow but right now airplane working time is looking minimal in the coming weeks so I'll have to tackle a little at a time.

Took a few minutes and test fit the ailerons. Just need a couple hours for some final sanding and some end caps and they are complete. Thanks for your patience while I try this, the pocket hinges has been an engineering challenge I've wanted to tackle for quite some time. I am pleased to say that everything is working out as designed, the ailerons are playing nice with each other and this will be a cool scale detail for this plane in a couple months.

Looking forward to getting back to working on the rest of the airplane now!!!. By the way is it just me or would this not make the most badass ugly stick ever if I just covered it now? Maybe next time....

I just might have to build one of your kits Terry, very nice work! It's toss up between yours and Badan yak 55 or maybe there vertigo. I have all summer to think on it. Your making it a hard decision! Lol
