Hey guys what are the differences between HS-225mg's, which are $90 for four, and the HS-5245's which are $170 for four? Massize price jump from the 225's, and 3DHS says both are usable for the 57-59" planes. Any big benefit of the 5245's?

The 5245's are quicker, stronger, and more precise, but it's all relative to your budget. Some beginner 3d guys don't really notice a huge difference, but there is quite a bit of difference! I would say they aren't necessary, but if you're investing that much money in a 60" plane, the added cost is worth the extra performance!

Alright ill probably get those then. I want a plane that size so I can fly 2 mistakes high and still see it haha. I've realized I probably won't be able to sell my T28 and and UM gear because the T28 needs like $50 worth of parts to be sellable so that's not really cost efficient, also, one of my UM bricks has epoxy on the rudder servo gear so it doesn't work, and the elevator servo is super slow to return to center. So if I sell my spitfire ill get $200 and ill sell my camera for $100. Ill have to make about $400. Hmmmm, that's manageable. I can get $160 a month, until the grass stops growing LOL. But, there's also something else to consider. My parents give me $300 a year for RC, and by the time january 1st comes around ill be able to spend it. $60 of that $300 is going to a decent charger, because all I have now is a traxxas fixed rate 800 mah wall charger, a parkzone car charger, and a little fixed rate 400mah wall charger. None of those will charge a 4S 5000 pack, which is what ill be using in the 57SC or 58 edge. That leaves me with $240 to spend on a sim and better TX. Woohoo! Looks like by early next year ill have RF6, a Futaba 7C, and an awesome 3DHS plane :D

Do you currently use any 3S 2200's? If you do, you can use the charger you have now, and run the 57 on 6S (two 3S in series). Just an idea to save you some money.

Only 2. And one is a crappy Voltz that sags like crap, and the second is a POS parkzone that's totally puffed. I really need a good charger and $40 for one from hobbypartz is the least of my worries. Ill use the glacier lipos from EPbuddy. (4S 4000) I'm going A40 10S and 4S batts to save money on cheaper batteries and longer flight time. O.O damn I forgot about christmas! I'm gonna ask for RF6 from mom and dad and use the money and giftcards I get from my other relatives to buy a 7C off ebay ($200 shipped) wow, ill have $1000 worth of rc stuff by february!

OK, I see. Although, if I were you, I'd seriously consider buying fresh 3S packs for a 6S setup. This way, if you decide to get another foamy/CrackYak/small plane, you'll already have the lipos you need for it. 3S are alot more versatile than 4S packs, IMO.

Hmmmmmmm.....good point...that would be worth it if I decide to get a 47 shp or 48 edge.....how would I put the batteries in the plane?

You can make a series adapter for the speed control, or buy one. Mine balances with the packs parallel with the wings, but all the way against the wing tube.
