Well my first trip to the local club went pretty good. There are a few guys there that fly 3d but not many. No EF or 3DHS planes in sight but after yesterday there already may be some EF planes being ordered :) I'm sure when they see my 71 Slick there will be some 3DHS planes being ordered shortly after. The only thing that sucks is when you're lining up for the runway theres some power lines that are pretty close and hard to judge the distance from the so you have to come in sideway on the runway and it's in the hills so there are some weird gusts. I want to sign up to hang out with some other flyers but the spot i fly at is almost better than the club(flat area instead of in the hills, no power lines by the runway, and 5 minutes from my house vs. 20 to the club). The club doesn't even have anywhere for me to use my charger :(

Nobody's birthday should be sad.....go have that dinner and keep it off your minds.

Yeah....we're going out this evening to a really good Chinese restaurant.....and I love Chinese food....to me, there are three main food groups, Chinese, BBQ, and all the rest...

But after a while it is more fun when you have people to talk to, and to watch other people fly....sometimes for the "comic relief" and sometimes to learn things.

Its been just over a year since I joined a club. Its an extra 20 minutes from my house but somedays I spend more time talking than flying while I am there. The peanut gallery at my field always finds ways to keep things interesting.

On Discovery right now: Flying and crashing a full scale 727 on what looks like a Futaba 8FG. Looks cool...
