Supposedly we are going to get hit with an El Nino real bad this winter here in slow cal. Tuna Crab have been washing up on the beaches for weeks now, which usually indicates that... Might be a nasty flying season ahead of us here...

This year we've had three seasons so far. Too cold, too wet and too hot. With too much wind in all three.

Two seasons here, road constructin and winter. El nino usually means wet for us, too. With the water situation here right now it will be a good thing though.

Unfortunate as it may seem, we had sunny warm calm skies last night. Went with my friend last evening and put the beat down on my lil purple Pilot.

Mid-90s here this weekend, but we're real lucky that our field has a nice stand of trees that we pit under. 10 mph breeze (right down the runway) kept it cool... great day out.

We had so much rain last week that our field is just now drying out enough to mow! I realize there are others in worse shape than we are and I hope their fields survive the flooding in good shape.

Finally have a bird back in the air. Replaced my Funtana's Saito 125 with a DLE. Had to replace the reed block and now she's purring like a kitten.
