I was running a Falcon 32x11.
I am finding out that the Falcon props are quite a bit louder than Mejzlik props. I have started going with more pitch and less diameter on the larger engines and so far it seems to be working out pretty good for me. I will let you know what happens with the 31x12evo-l Mejzilk after I get done flying tonight :)

I had basically gone to Falcon over the Mejzlik because of sound levels. The Mej 32x10 I originally had on my 157cs was so loud it would make your ears bleed. I also noticed with the same size Falcon, it had better pull and much better breaking on downline. But I've noticed lately that the Falcon on my 157 is starting to rip big time more than it used to. Perhaps altitude and degree of break in, condition of motor...is making the difference?!? I've seriously considered swapping out the 32x11 from my 170 classic to the 157. Putting the 32x10 on the 170. As it seems they are pretty much equal in power. The 170 doesn't rip the 32x11 too bad. That 157 is a beast.

At any rate, I am very interested in your results. I have swapped everything over to the Falcons, but will also say if there is something more suitable that provides better performance, I am all for that.

Well, the 31x12evo-l ripped at about half throttle! It did have better pulling power on the uplines though. I am looking forward to trying my friends 29x12N 3 blade to see how that works out. When the Mejzlik ripped it wasn't near as loud as the Falcon though. As far as breaking goes, the Mejzlik seemed to be a little bit better but, not much.

Well, I get to post this in this thread instead of the workshop thread finally. Re-Maiden of the Hangar 9 SU26 today and after a few clicks of up elevator trim it was flying on rails. 45* inverted absolutely neutral so the CG is still spot on.

Uploading a video to youtube now. Wife took it. It was long and boring though. First flight was just trim and getting the feel of it again. It was very overcast and dark. The sun did pop out for the third flight but she had left by then.
