Today's flying also consisted of swimming. While flying.

It was 80% humidity...

That's pretty dry for this part of the country!

Had a Blast..... damn bad luck followed me home though Just went to grab a beer and the whole handle come off the fridge in one even POP! SOB

Dang you must of wanted that beer bad to rip the Handel off. My fridge in the apt gave beer up easy for me and did not hit but one little rain show so mabby all my bad luck is over.

You've got me beat by one.
The forecast for Sunday looks waaaaay too good to be true. Sunny, 80 degrees, humidity less than 50% and a 4mph wind. I'll believe it when I see it.

Just like I thought, they were wrong. I did get two flights in before the nasty looking rain clouds moved in and I loaded the truck and went home. It drizzled on me about half of my 35 minute drive. Since I haul in an open pickup rain can be a pain.

That makes 11 flights this year. I'm setting my all time poor record.

Here is another vid from yesterday with P-huck, had a left aileron servo failure. The vid quality SUKS, but still has some good clips of some awesome flying.

This one ended with a throttle servo failure, wasn't gonna post it, but Stephen said go for it. Crazy save BTW P-huck. That's a tough azz airframe, only suffered busted gear.

after 8 months.....I finally get to post here!!!!!

I finally got my new workshop to a point I could work on planes. Its done yet, but its close. I put the PAU Edge back together and 10-15mph crosswinds be damned....I flew it today!

Going to shoot for tomorrow with the Chipmunk I refurbished for Roger. Going to make him fly my work!

Hope to get some vid with my cam. Never could get the antique Sony to work with windows 8. It will still be cowl and pants off...they out getting automotive grade white shine.
