Cam its looking really nice but we have to get into vacuum bagging!

I hear ya. I am intimidated by the unknown. I have never done that before. I am afraid if I mess it up. Have you ever done it before, or, could you show me where I can learn more about it?

Here you go Cam. This was the first one I did. I have done several now and its easy. It gets even pressure on the whole surface.

just finished the mount. Came out real good. With the SWB mount, the total length is 44 mm, which should give me about a 5 mm spinner back plate gap with the front end of the cowl.

total weight is 6 ounces.

the tube is glued in. These are Estes Rocket tubes. BT 50 tubes, with the couplers.
Very lightweight. Inside diameter is 0.95"

I was able to glue on the skins to the fin. When I get home from work, we will see how it came out.

I am using polyurethane glue. I drip it on 1st, then I use a squeegee to spread it out.

I am happy with the way it came out, and not vacuum bagged.
One day, I am sure, I will be doing that, and I may even say, wish I had done this all along...

The bags come in a roll. You clamp off each end depending on how long you want it. The wings I did for that plane were 42% wings. They can easily do any 40% plane. Here is the company we get the pump and bags from http://www.acpsales.com/OnlineStore.php
