I just turned her on, and she was humming. Very quiet.
I removed the canopy, and filled both tanks all the way, then brought her to 6500 RPM, and the main tank did not collapse. My felt clunk in the back up tank is not restricting fuel flow to the main tank. But, If I use the fuel station to withdraw the fuel, it does collapse, and this is purely based on the flow rate.
I appreciate Wayne for bringing this to my attention.
I just checked the CG, and based off the center of the wing tube, the airplane is nose heavy by 0.50 pounds.
I will leave it like this til after the maiden.
I will cross reference Tom's CG on his, to see how close I am to his.
I believe, the measurement i made is 230 mm behind the center of the main wheels, which is about the center of the wing tube.
