Any of you guys going to Joe Nall? I’m going to try and make it…. Well I’m trying to make a box to ship my 104” in. This is quite the project with kiddos running around and working too much. I’m running out of time and considering just buying something there and flying it. I just have a dream to fly my own gas plane on the 3D Line.

I might. I haven’t been in 5 years or so, which is about how often I attend. Actually our club has it’s own private flyin there in early June I think.

I could bring a plane. Maybe it hitches a ride with a club member who’s already pulling a trailer. I bought my trailer from a friend right before Covid, he passed away at 84 years old in ‘22. I have no idea where the bill of sale is so I drive an hour to the field with an expired tag. Not sure I want to pull it to SC.

At least you have been. I hope to make Nall in the Fall at some point but the normal Joe Nall will probably never happen. It's always on the week of our wedding anniversay so that wouldn't go over well with the wifey.

Well I’ve just about finished the boxes… I’m not confident enough that it’ll make it there within my timing. Lots of phone calls but kind of hitting a wall. Might have to do just buy something there in the end after all…

Well I spent the last 14 days in shop making a drawing for a sport plane that will fit my Kolm 150. It has been tough slugging all the calculations are done and that went relatively easy. But making the drawings is tough going I have not used Auotocad in very long time and it is not coming back as quick as I would like. I have spent over 100 hours already working on the drawings and I believe it is not even half way done.
The plane looks to be 95 inches long and a wingspan of 120 inches a wing are of 2450 square inches.
