I'm not sure what our club trainer has on it as I have never actually flown it. As for me the two trainers I have are and old great planes PT-40 that I got from a club member and restored. I have a Gforce 3542 on it running on 4S power. Actually run a pair of 4S 2200's in paralell only as I need the weight to balance it.what power/battery did you go with??
I got mine from a club member for free since it was to be my daughters primary trainer. It's a great flying airframe.I've got my eye out for a GP 30cc trainer. There was one on ebay a while back, but it went for too much. I may have to scratch build one at some point. The .40 trainer I have is a GP trainer I believe. It was given to me as well. The Thunder Tiger 46pro I have on it runs like a top. I've gotten lots of free glow fuel from people who don't fly glow anymore. My favorite all time glow engine has to be the Super Tigre G51. Broke in properly, they just run forever.
Good deal!! I'm very happy when people look out for the interests of other flyers!I got mine from a club member for free since it was to be my daughters primary trainer. It's a great flying airframe.
