Quite honestly, I think every government entity associated with our airspace wants everything out of it.

well after several weeks of work it is done converted the 125 Funtana from a GP38 to XPWR 22cc plane. Getting the CG correct was one problem and redoing the cowl took the most time and work. It is done 2lbs lighter.

I was going to but that decal it is really stuck on. It will pull the paint off, I do not not want paint the cowl again. I just have to live with it, it’s not a show piece just a good flying plane.

FCC Decision Update – DA 26-22 - AMA IN ACTION Advocating for Members

On January 7, the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) released Disciplenary Action (DA) 26-22, which removes certain Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and ...

Basically, the FCC is backpedaling some because someone somewhere realized that this will affect our own defense contractors and would severely harm large portions of the US economy. Google and Amazon were also at the ready with the lawsuit cannon because the explanation was too broad and could potentially classify components not sold as UAS or UAS components under the same umbrella (i.e. cell phones, wireless home devices, wifi routers, computers, etc.).

More than likely a lot of this will get honed back down to very specifics and largely won't affect us common folk.

I'm not sure if anyone has heard the news but Tim Jesky (Andrew Jesky's father) passed away yesterday. We will miss him dearly.
