Motor box sides, bottom, and firewall all glued in place yesterday. It's all coming together really nicely.

And just like that we have a completed motor box. This afternoon when I get home I will install the missing section of the top plate behind F1 and stick the covering back down.

What size motor are you installing. It will ready when the weather turns good. Sticking the covering back is going to be most frustrating part, trying to make old covering look good is difficult.

Now the fun part. Repairs are complete and covering is stuck back down just need to find my heat gun to helps lay it all back down smooth. Coworker of mine 3D printed me a set of baffles for and it fits well in the cowl. Then onto mounting the engine and throttle servo. I think the engine will need to be spaced out a touch further but wont know for sure until I have a spinner and prop to mount on it. Also I don't plan on leaving those engine standoffs on it anyways. They came with the used engine but I plan to order the blazing star mount for a more secure setup.
