You are going to like that little twin. I've had one for more than a year now. It's on a Giant Stik at the moment but it looks like it's headed to a QQ Yak 54 in the near future. :sneaky:

I plan to build a profile around mine but I am keeping my eyes open for a uses 30cc airframe I could stuff it in to have fun with for a while.

FWIW, I found the Falcon 20x9 carbon to work best on this engine. Everything else I have tried (Valley view and Xoar - 20x8-21x8 (beech and laminated) really unload a lot in the air without any better grunt. That's on a 78" EF extra.
Yeah Terryscustoms had told me 20-9 as well.

Well cleaned up the work shop and guess what I found. A GP 60 Sportster. While I am trying to figure out my radio gear for my Typhoon I will have something to do. I bought this a long time ago, I think in 1984 not sure. But it will be fun to build it will bring back some found memories.
Will not have wheels in the wing. And it will have a OS-120F. Do not know what else I am going to change but I am sure there will be more.

Ok @Snoopy1 and @stangflyer and anyone else, here is my experience painting the parts for my viper with Wings West RC paint. I didn't get the aerosol cans from them, just the bottles of 2k primer and paint. I did get the aerosol 2k clear from them. I used the accuspray gun from 3M to paint everything. I didn't have any problems at all which I am very happy about. This was my first time using this type of paint.

I sprayed the first coat of primer, and as usual there were some pin holes to take care of. I was really surprised at how few were on the cowl, but the wheel pants were a different story. There was a gob of them to take care of. Got all those filled, sanded down, and then sprayed another good coat of primer on. Another good sand job with 400 grit paper and it was ready for paint.

Now for the paint. One thing that needs to be done, is the paint needs to be shaken up REALLY good. Then masked off for the first color of white. Poured the paint in and started spraying. One thing to note is that if there is something not quite right with your surface after you have primed it, it will show up when you hit it with paint. There were a few spots that showed up on mine, but it is fine with me if it is not quite perfect (after all when it is 50' in the air you won't notice :D). I sprayed 2 coats on. Than it was just repeat masking and spraying for each color. The colors all matched really well. I am now ready to spray clear. So far I am very pleased with the results. This just about wraps up the Viper build:banana-dance: just a couple things yet to finish.
