Gotta love them O.S. 4 stroke engines. I had a 160 on a Carl Goldberg Sukhoi. It was pretty good power for that plane. Not unlimited like our setups these days. But dang did it sound awesome. Never got a chance to put my 320 Pegasus in anything. Just really makes me want to revert back to those days. Uh, maybe not. Lol
Had only one sticky valve, lol. But she’s alive!!! Compression seems a bit on the low side, but boy does it sound cool.

Man I loved my Os 61 SF with out a doubt that was one of my best engine I have ever owned. Always started and ran. It was much better than the newer ones. I sold the 61 and bought a 75 to replace it for more power. Big mistake I sold my 61 and ended with the 75. Well the 61 was a much better engine and it was faster and stronger. Newer is not always better. Those were the days my friend. Thought they would never end......So break out the glow and have a ball.......NOT......
Do have another restoration lined up!......Wright Flyer 60 TD with OS 61SF. Semi-symmetrical pattern trainer. Will be sport'n 4 original Futaba S-148 servos and some cheeseburger stickers for some vintage cheesy . Got to find a 800mah NiCad flat pack for it lol.

You are not kidding already bought a set of wings from AJ aircraft and have made quite the list of stuff to pick up at the Toledo show and that’s not Evan any radio stuff . Will need 5 really good servos and a power- safe receiver on top of that. But building stuff your self is very enjoyable to mel, I do know it is not cost effective but you know what I may end up with something I want.
