Got the Cub dash completed tonight and sitting in place but not permanently installed yet. Still have some black out work to do up front.
I think it is turning out decent . I was really worried. My fingerprint and glue smudges normally end up in this kind of work .

Nice job it looks really good. I love building and I can spend endless time building a wing or fuselage to get it just right but a just do not have the patience to detail work on a dash panel like that. Nice work.

Thank you fellas. Hope the rest turns out good. I am tempted to cheat and get some stuff at iflytailies.com They have LOTS of great stuff in kit form or assembled. May end up and see if they will sell me just the cub seats out of their kit. The do sell just the seats but the ones in the cockpit kit have red seat cushions . Going to do something because I don't like the seats that came in my kit. They are a bit to big. Think they would be better suited for the 25% BUSA Cub.

Ok boys made some progress on the fuselage and removable canopy. I think it looks ok took some doing to keep it flat and square.

Back at the ranch......

I got the gas tank primed and painted. Once fully dried I will paint the outside diameter of the tank grey again and then "highlight" it and the ribs with gloss clear coat.

I also got the correct prop in from the vendor from ebay. I feel a bit ashamed for getting upset. Great guy after all. He told me he had been away from the shop and left the wife in charge. That explained it all .
