One thing you might double check is P-mix-1. Make sure the values read just like what the manual shows. Good Luck.

Did you set your wing and tail configuration to one servo per control surface? The most basic set up. If you set the main wing as having flaps and 2 ailerons the programming will lock specific channels to support that. Remember AS3X is like any other gyro and needs to see the basic 3 channels of flight control. But I really think your on the right track with a connector or wire some where being faulty. Flaps should only use one channel and maybe the problem is in the Y harness. But I see that it calls for two channels for flaps. Hmn…..

Yeah on the timber x it can be setup with the flaps on a y and the ailerons on a y to function normally or you remove the y from the flaps so they can be mixed to the ailerons to give full span ailerons. I currently have it setup as one aileron channel and two flap channels.

Like I said watching my monitor screen I feel the program is working correctly but I have been wrong before.

Yes I plan to check my p mix when I get home to verify. The one thing I find interesting is it only tells you to create one p mix for the flaps. Would have thought it would need two but my buddy that has the plane says his works perfectly with only the one.

Replaced the tail brace wires on the Python. Then, I pulled the engine and canisters in order to get my big mitts in to reinforce the gear block. Looks like it had been repaired previously, and I’m just not happy with it.

One thing I do not know about the mix is "is it always on?" and not assigned a switch. I think so because you are using "Flap set up" in the radio programming thus eliminating need for the second mix.
