Finally sourced a canopy for the Mentor! :D Or so I thought  Turns out it's a canopy for a Magister, which is a few inches longer. Cut the excess off and it fit like a glove

I can't stand automatics. Even my wife and daughter drive manuals. And they wouldn't have it any other way. :)

I was the same way until my foot injury. It's just not fun driving a stick for extended periods of time now, especially with all of the stop and go traffic here. If it's a truck or commuter, it'll be auto. If it's a fun sports car, it'll be stick.

At least motorcycles are mostly all manual, except for some of those weird Honda's :oblong:

My shop truck is a stick that I've been driving for 23 years. I finally after 120000 all city stop and start miles had to put a clutch in it a year or so ago. With my bad knee the clutch sucks now and then. Thankfully hydraulic clutches are easy to push. Driving some of the old muscle cars around at my shop kills that knee in a hurry.

Damn I'm hungry
All I could find is some really small scrap pieces of ultra coat in red and white. Have some mono-kote but the missle red is not the same as ultra-coat's red. So I re-used the old covering and "scrapped" the areas where it fell short. Not the best covering look but it will have to do.
I also realized that the inside edge of the aileron was pushed / smushed in a bit. I pulled it out best I could and tightened up the covering.
All cosmetic....Flight performance should be fine if I can ever get the fuse to the door :blank:. So back in the wing bag for now :dancing-poop:.

Hey @Snoopy1 on a plane that size you will be fine with CA hinges just get yourself Radio South CA hinges as all others are junk after you use radio south ones once.
I will order some and try them because the stuff I am using now is junk . Thanks for the help. Is it ok just to slot the existing ca hinges and slide these in beside the old existing ca hinges.
