Very nice of you to look for me no sure if they are the same what I do know the part of the carburetor that fits into the motor crankcase has diameter of 13.5 mm. If they are the same then it will fit. But I could make up a sleeve from the casing to the carburetor. Let’s first see if the carburetor has 13.5 mm spigot to fit the motor. Thanks again for looking.I thought I had an OS.46, but turns out it’s an OS.40. I’m guessing the carb is different.

Thanks hold on to the 40 and let me look into what else he has and see how we can proceed.Unfortunately the carburetor body measures 10 mm at the mating diameter with the case.
Any chance an OS .40 would be able to power whatever airplane this young man has? If so, you’re welcome to this one.

the 40fp makes a great engine on a 40" span profile when its piped.
Thanks but do not want take something just to sit on it. But if it can be used and he has a plane that fits the needs I will getting back to you. It is difficult right now with covid to get around.Well, this one is just sitting here doing nothing. Hopefully, one of you will be able to put it to good use. Just tell me where to ship it.
