I thought I had an OS.46, but turns out it’s an OS.40. I’m guessing the carb is different.

Very nice of you to look for me no sure if they are the same what I do know the part of the carburetor that fits into the motor crankcase has diameter of 13.5 mm. If they are the same then it will fit. But I could make up a sleeve from the casing to the carburetor. Let’s first see if the carburetor has 13.5 mm spigot to fit the motor. Thanks again for looking.

Unfortunately the carburetor body measures 10 mm at the mating diameter with the case.

Any chance an OS .40 would be able to power whatever airplane this young man has? If so, you’re welcome to this one.

Thanks hold on to the 40 and let me look into what else he has and see how we can proceed.

Well, this one is just sitting here doing nothing. Hopefully, one of you will be able to put it to good use. Just tell me where to ship it.
Thanks but do not want take something just to sit on it. But if it can be used and he has a plane that fits the needs I will getting back to you. It is difficult right now with covid to get around.

I'm not sure if this is sad or insane. I cannot wait to finish my Otter and Beaver so I can build a Goose. The otter needs some wing work, and I need to get the iron back in the fire to keep the Beaver build going... but this Goose... So neat, the designer I respect a lot. He's very informative and his videos are fun to watch and learn from. He is now building a V2 of the Goose, I received my V1 last year and haven't started it yet. But seriously look at his V2 laser cut design for the nacelles/canopy and his super creative CAD work of the retractable landing gear.
