First lunch then onto building which looks a littler different. Sold our house so I dont have a shop for a while. Threw the portable bench in my truck and will now spend my lunch breaks building this twisted hobbies Revolto and the 35" Crack Fokker after it. should be fun.

Nice! I'm sure a lot of the parts are similar to the crack yak XL that I just built, and I recreated all their 3D Printed parts and posted them on thingiverse in case you want to use them:

Theoretically build season should be behind us.
Found a structural issue with the tailwheel on the Python earlier this week, and decided to give the entire airframe a good inspection. Not that I like to recover things, but here we go again!

Needed to make wing supports for my Cub build so drew something up and got started.

I used a router to groove adjustable slots. Center of router was 2" so used a 123 block to center my risers. A little rough around the edges, literally, but did not have a plunge router, nor have I used a router in decades.

Bolts were too big for the routed grove and no other bit for router so I widened the grooves with my mini mill.

Been recovering a Tower Hobbies Vista Grande glider. Saved 4oz recovering the glider with light transparent film, and airfoiling the tail bits. I am very happy with the outcome so far and it’s back to ARF Stage. Excited to keep moving forward… except the slight road bump of getting carpel tunnel surgery on my hand in the morning…. Wish me luck! At least I’ll have a cool plane to look at for while!
