It's done. The inner surface was polished with sandpaper and WD40 to 800 grit to remove the tool marks, it is about 3/4" longer than the stock venturi.
Working on the cowl mold as well, it it ready to begin molding, all waxed and PVA applied. Once the new cowl is complete I can mount the engine and glass the firewall in place.
