Damn I'm hungry
Ok sir @stangflyer hope I am not breaking the rules of this thread. I picked this from the LHS and will be picking away at it as time allows and how i feel. But after flying the Inverse 33 I am really looking forward to this one.

I helped a friend build one of those. If you use a DA35 with a pitts muffler and use the recommended batteries and follow the instruction book it comes out perfectly balanced and flies awesome. Cut the cowl as it "shows" in the manual and cooling is a non issue.
I would load the Cap232 Aura 8 programming if you are going to use the Aura 8. The problem a lot felt about this plane is the covering. It's china coat and if you use too much heat the white glue seeps out the seams.

Yesterday’s arrival - You all know Red Line, but maybe not my airplane cleaning secret. Wash Wax is “brewed” by a good friend in San Antonio. A quick shopping trip on Amazon shows several available kits. If it’s good enough for Air Force One, it’s good enough for Python 100 :).

My new 28 x 9 1/2 Falcon prop and 5" Ultimate spinner from Northwest RC arrived yesterday. I ordered the prop with a 2 o'clock drill which Tim does for free, but was shocked to see he drilled the spinner too! That saved me some work and potential headaches. Since it doesn't use a center bolt and it screws on around the edges, you've got to get everything clocked correctly so the prop fits the cutouts. He did an awesome job.

This is the first big prop I've ever bought that needed no balancing whatsoever. Even the hub balance was good.

Besides being an all around stand up great guy, friend and awesome pilot, he definitely knows his stuff. Absolutely a credit to our great hobby.

That really looks good the shine on the spinner is excellent. Nice of the LHS to all that work properly.

I hope it goes well snoop. It’s one of the few yaks I really like the look of but I have heard a lot of people complain about the quality on the flex one. I hope it was just a first run thing and has all been sorted out as I know all his foamies go together well and that the Mamba has as well.

No rules broken. Just don't let your wife know you are playing Mr. Postman. LOL... Good luck with the build. I really like a Yak. Hope the quality and craftsmanship is superb.:way_to_go:

Thanks for all your comments and help. And yes took a good look at the plane. Yes the covering is really bad and does not seem to want to shrink. Wanted to recover a section but Ultracote does not match. Well it is going to difficult to work on and not stop looking at the covering not only that it looks like they cut the covering with very blunt knife. But looking at the rest it looks good. Will keep you guys informed.
