Well I am bad if you guys remember I purchased an IR meter a week or so ago. The I get a some info from revolectrix and some things that are on sale. Well you can guess the GT500 was on sale for Half price so I could not refuse, and now I do not have carry the PL8 around any more and it will end up on the workbench were it belongs

What's the difference? I use the P6 and the Multipro 4. Why move the p8 to the workbench?

I have a Multipro 4 and P8. The 4 is one that I always took to the field but just not enough power and other features that I needed at the field, so started taking P8 to the field but just to much of a unit to drag around and when the 500 came up at a good price, so I got one.
