BUSA kits are a little quirky, but it's nothing you can't handle.

Nope my weekend to work. The guy I got this from is who you got your laser from. He is taking a bunch of stuff including some of my stuff to a swap meet somewhere else

get to ordering then. Guy i got it from also has a Nieuport 28. He hasnt decided if he is gonna keep it yet or not though.
Build thread will be a bit. Gotta finish two planes for other people first.

Ok I can’t help myself. Rolled the plans out to have a look (also rolled back up, gotta finish other stuff first) looked through the wood and all looks good and figure I will go ahead a read the manual to get a idea of things. Two things. On I feel a good four stroke gas engine would be cool on this thing. Anybody got any ideas of a good one. Second the kit has been in a garage for many many years. While I don’t see mold on anything wood or box it does have that strong musty smell. Any ideas on getting rid of the smell? Am thinking I may move everything to a new box for starters.

Yes you have to finish the little electric 3D plane very interested to see how it goes together you cannot stop now.
And yes the four stroke I would put in it is Gaui 50cc four stroke. My flying buddy bought one and asked me to set it up in a plane and run it for the first time it was flown all last season without any problems love the engine pulls good the sound well we all know how good that is. I would not hesitate to buy one.

This is the engine on the test stand ran great after 8 oz it was tuned and ready to be mounted in the plane

Oh yeah the little profile is getting finished. Should be working on it again this weekend.
What size plane is that Gaui on? The nieuport I got is 1/4 scale so most are powered with zenoha g23’s. A 50 might be a bit much.

I do not know anything smaller than 50 cc gas that I would buy. The Gaui was mounted on Valiant 30cc .
