Chris,

I have a Saito 30 gas engine and it is typical Saito, very high quality. It has the approximate power of a Saito 150 glow, so it might be marginal in your 1/4 scale Nieuport. You may want to look into getting something a little bigger, like the Saito 36 gas.

Gotcha. Yeah there are lots of choices in the two stroke department just slime pickings in four stroke. Funny as the plans say a 1.20 four stroke nitro will fly it.

The 30 Saito probably will fly it, I had an 80" Dynaflight PT-19 I flew with a Saito 120 and it was plenty, but you're going to have to add a ton of lead to the nose to balance it if you run an engine that small. Of course, the 36 isn't that much larger.

So looking around I think I’m gonna stick to a two stroke. The four strokes are a little bit taller which will require cutting more of the cowl than I want. The Zenoah G23 fits perfect according to the manual using scale cowl cutouts for the exhaust and the spark plug boot.

The postman brought me a few things whilst I was away so I don't know which day it was delivered, but I got me some new temp loop's, Pico switches, a Falcon prop, and some exhaust wrap. These will bring a few airframes up to par. And even though it was only delivered halfway and not by the postman I am now the proud owner of an Aeroworks 150cc Ultimate as well as a 3W 150.

I played postman myself yesterday. After jacking around for months trying to get replacement parts for my damaged PilotRC Yak I took the easy way out and bought another.
Found this over on FG for much less than new cost and jumped on it. It helps that it was local or stang flyer would have beat me to it.

Nice big ailerons, they look bigger than my 6 year old yak. Now to move the components from one to the other.

Hey @dhal22,
Nice looking Yak. . . . . :yesss:. You're not alone with your Yak procurement. I just bought a 35% Bill Hempel Yak55M second hand at a price I couldn't refuse. I am going to be playing postman and I am going to Greensboro on Tuesday of next week and pick it up. I am so excited I cannot stand it ! ! ! ! ! I"ll be sending my 3W100 I got from @Bartman a couple of years ago to Gerhard for a HV ignition module, new reed block and a good going through. It should yank my Yak around like a Rag doll. All I need are 8 servos that I may hit up @pawnshopmike for. . . . :big_yes:.
