Not at all surprising with TDRC. What does amaze me however is that you ordered on Tuesday and received it Wednesday. That's awesome.

I keep rc stuff out west (Oklahoma) at my uncle's farm. Shipped there directly once from TDRC and thought a package of servo wire extensions were forgotten in the shipment. Chad had replacement extensions to me in 2 days (I was there only a week) so I got to fly.

Turns out we accidentally covered the extensions up in my uncles shop and Chad said don't worry about it. So I added the extensions on next order to TDRC a year later and told him not to include them. He was amazed I did that but that's what he gets for great service.

There are so many good companies out there. Taildragger, TNT, RC Aircraft Components, Northwest RC and others. I love a good mom and pop kind of operation.

I ordered some stuff from Northwest RC and Taildragger last night. If it all shows up by Saturday I'll get to fly my 35% Extra Sunday. If it doesn't rain. There's a lot of ifs in there.

You can go to their website and find all kinds of stuff like hardware, building supplies, building tools, control horns, LiPo batteries, chargers & etc. Most of the stuff is 40% off plus shipping is free if you spend $125.00. I ordered some building supplies and control horns for my next three planes and saved $100.00. . . . . . . .

Also, the folks at Skyshark are really great people to work with too. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Whoo hoo!! They made it. Finally...!!! What? you may ask? Look what the postman brought today.



I have been thinking for a long time of getting up to speed on my setups. My previous have been flawlessly perfect and can't complain. But recently I have had an issue with the 3.1M Sukhoi. I am seriously looking very hard at those two and a half year old Fromeco's. Plus, I like the Pulse batteries in the Jtec Pitts and the SD 33% Yak. Why not upgrade the rest of my planes? Well, I needed a pack that would handle the full load. My son and I have eliminated the ignition packs from our 100cc and smaller planes. But really wanted to also do the big guys. Just have not found a suitable replacement. Until now that is. Take a gander at these beasts!



I will have to change the plug out for the Deans so I can still plug into my Smart Fly boards.



But that ain't no thing. They even come with a really cool digital tester/low voltage alarm buzzer. How cool is this?



I am thinking 16,000 mA is more than enough to fly that Sukhoi "Aaaaand" supply plenty of zap zap juice for the Might Dub 170 sparklers. The plan is to remove the 2600 LiIon ignition pack altogether and replace it and the two 5200 LiIon flight packs with just the two 8000 mA Lipos. I need to add, My son checked every review on these batteries that he could find. Not one single review was less than a 5 star. That was enough to convince me to give them a try.

Those should provide more than enough juice I would think. A Li-Po is certainly more capable of delivering high amperage than a Li-Ion.
