All part of the hobby I suppose. In any manner, when you're flying it you sure seem to forget all of the dollars that went into it!!!

Engine/mufflers should be arriving Monday, hopefully the prop too. Then we can really start to make headway

I got over the whole money thing long ago when I started out on Heli's. I was self taught and went through the growing pains of the hobby. Fact is its going to happen sooner or later so unless your prepared to wipe it away and start over I wouldn't recommend this hobby to anyone. Or stick with really inexpensive foamy's.

I usually buy quality equipment to go along with the airplane so I can transfer it to a new airplane if the inevitable happens. Airframe doesn't cost much by comparison, it's usually the cheapest portion of it..
