Had to stop with the fuselage covering. Realized I need to do something for the throttle servo and ignition mounting. Have to give that some thought. One thing I will do is order a small mini servo for the throttle it’s half the weight of a standard servo every little bit counts. Added more balsa to the rear of the fuselage than I wanted to but needed it to end and wrap the covering around the servos to make it all work.

It's hard to see in this photo and I will see if I can find a better one but all I did on the 40 sized one when I built it was literally a small piece of double sided foam tape to stick it in place and then drilled a small hole through the fuse in front and behind the servo and wrapped a tie wrap through it. Was very secure and never had an issues with it.

Like the muffler looks like a beer can how well did it work.
Thinking of double sided tape but with a spring loaded carburetor and covering I am not confident that it would work for long. Plus there will be some fuel spilling out of the carb towards the rear in the location of the servo. It may still work giving it some serious thought.
I know we had some Very good two sided tape when I was still racing 1/8 Scale gas cars and we use use two sided tape for our steering servos.

It’s a macs header and a dollar tree metal spray bottle. Worked awesome. Really woke up the os 55ax. Not saying it was ever a bad motor as it’s great without it but ridiculous fast throttle response on the pipe. It worked good to give you power all through your RPM band unlike the long tuned pipes that had a certain rpm that they where happy at.

Got the mounting done for the ignition, came out pretty good had to make a small plate over the landing gear so that it is still serviceable. Also managed to move it rewards a little to help with nose weight. Picture will follow soon.
In limbo right now waiting for the mini servo to be delivered so that it can be positioned correctly for the carburetor.

I'll probably get started on the tail surfaces for now. I've got to just get my foot in the door on the build to get motivated.

If you would like to fly this spring you will have to get started.

I'm still flying my Aero-Works Prox 260. I'm going to build this one with some of the techniques used on the Prox. I've got a couple of damaged wings from my old one I'm going to use the wing access doors from. They've worked great on the 3 Prox's so far.

That is why I am building this plane the Glitter. Presently flying an Aeroworks Pro260. It is heavy and wing rocks badly not pleased with plane hopefully this is much better.
