Agree....I don't think the copying is the issue. I don't have strong feelings either way about the copy debate. I know I wouldn't personally cite copying and stealing schemes, as has been said here, as my reason to not buy from HK. None of the copies are 1 for 1 copies but they are still...

I'm sure there are subtle differences but the overall question still remains. Apparent copying in China is very common and I'm just wondering why sometimes it's ok and other times it's not. Seriously...are we to say the EME60 was thought up all by itself? Look at the pictures of the 60cc engine:

Honestly I'm confused about the HK issue and why it causes such turmoil here. As has been described a few times, it's one of the main things that prompted creating this site. It seems a bit odd to me that this site takes such a clear position on copying practices of HK but other copying is...

    Wattaplane/Skywing 48" EPP/PLY hybrid Slick

I just bought one of these planes myself!! I've seen them fly, took some pulls, and seen the videos.....convinced me to pull the trigger on one! Seems like a great option for an economical 3D basher that flies just as good as anything else out there!

WRAM 2013: 3DRCF Event Coverage and Member Experiences!

This is exactly why I won't buy a 3DHS product right now. The company's attitude towards the customer seems to have changed over the past couple of years. Prior to that, it was a customer focused, growing company, and I only bought 3DHS planes. Today, a guy makes a simple statement that he...

    ** The 3DRCForums 38! **

It does appear 3DHS has parted ways with FG and the Huckfest series. I also heard 3DHS may not be going to SEFF this year? I wonder why we're seeing such a big shift in how events are promoted, attended, and sponsored this year by 3DHS. I think the Huckfest series will go on just fine...

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

Interesting...maybe Andrew will have his design manufactured by another ARF company. We're seeing more and more ARF companies these days competing for our hobby dollar. Great for us to have choices! We're always looking to spend our dollars where the company has it in stock, gets it to us...

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

I think what you'll find is the smaller engines are more sensitive to needle adjustments. Just the thickness of a screw driver blade can make engine go from rich to lean. Also can't be tuned accurately without a tach. You can get it close by ear, but guarantee a tach will show you the need to...

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

Why? I do. I have one of the original 70" Slicks as an electric 6S. andI have a 71" gas. Of course the 70"Slick hasn't seen the air in almost a year! I should sell it but my son loves flying the electric Slick when he gets around to flying.

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

Once someone goes gas and gets it all dialed in....I don't see them often going back to electric! There's just something about not having to worry about battery charging strategies and flying for 12-20 mins is a plus!

It's a Skywing 48" Edge balsa/epp foam. She was passed around for all to take a turn and it flew awesome. I think the guy who brought it convinced about 6 guys to buy one!

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

As with any purchase decision, it's up to the buyer to do as much research and ask opinions as they desire to make their purchase decision. And the more you ask, the wider variety of opinions you will get! Obviously, as Gyro stated , you won't find Hk fans here. But if you ask the question in...

FLI V at the 114th Sponsored by 3DHS and 3DRCFORUMS

I think we're confusing the DLE 111 and DA 120. I've tried a couple props on my DLE 111 and the Falcon 28x9 worked the best. It's the DA 120 that taks the 29x9. I've seen Humberto's and others use this and it seems to be best prop, especially for 3D. Great pull, good braking.
