For pin hinges, I always use Gorilla Glue. I prep the hinge pin with lip balm, as well as the covering around the hole, so once the glue expands, its easy to remove the excess. Blistex in the yellow squeeze tube works great!

What I do is punch a hole in some masking tape and place it over the hole. When it is dry remove the tape which most of the time is a pain in the A** to do.

Never thought of lip balm. Especially the nearby surfaces. I've been putting petroleum jelly (vasaline) in the bottom of a beer can, heat it up with a torch so it's liquid, bend the hinge, dip it in, flip & dip again. I'll use a plastic epoxy mixing rod to coat the hinge receptacles, and lightly coat the hinge pin. I'll cut up a bunch of paper towels into little squares and have Isopropyl Alcohol handy. Makes cleaning up the epoxy easier.

Put the rudder on. 30min epoxy using the warmed up petroleum jelly trick on the hinges. Fit very nice. Of course I touched up the holes with an xacto knife and hit the covering with an iron for good measure prior.

Ok one wing done hinged, gaps sealed on both sides and the aileron servo installed.
One more wing to complete and then getting very close to doing an assembly to see how it all balances.

Well made a start on assembly to check the CG. While assembling the motor and exhaust fond that the exhaust needed some machining to fit the motor so after that was all done the motor is now on the plane with the exhaust. Have everything on the plane or I should say most of it and without any tail servos it is nose heavy. Now it just a matter of moving things around and do some planning to see how it all ends up ok without having to add any weight.
Just looking at the picture I still have to add the propeller and spinner.

Well for me the plane came out a little nose heavy. Moved the rear servos back as far as I could, removed the spinner and added a wood prop and the plane balanced. After all that with plane completely loaded with everything including all the nuts and bolts it weighed in at 6 lbs 14.7 oz so hopefully just have to cover the fuselage and add in some supports for the rear servos. The wood was added in but not the covering so I believe it will be 7 lbs or less. Happy with that.

Nice flying looked like a good plane. Why bib you sell it. The plane flys good no wing rock. Presently have Pro60 from aero works not very good, heavy and has a lot of wing rock, hopefully the one I am presently building will be much better light and no wing rock.
