The engine mount has been bolted on and has had a coating of resin applied.

Getting close, the engine and components are in, everything is on it that has to be. I measured the cg point according to the manual on the wing tip, used a string to transfer it to the center, made a hanging block and wire, and have it hooked up to the lift. I get a little nervous when this time come's around so I am going to take a break before lifting it into the air.

And here we go. The first pic is with nothing added, not bad. I placed the two batteries, Rx, ign kill, and pin flag under the front hatch and it was real close to perfect. But then I added one of the canisters to the nose, pic two, and it actually pitched forward a little so with the addition of the second canister it may very well be a tad nose heavy which is how I would prefer it.

Damn I'm hungry
"Tad" nose heavy is always good for the first flights. Always move something further back, like batteries, later on. Best thing is your not having to add weight to do so :). And who knows....You may like it nose heavy and keep it there.

I agr first flat a little nose heavy the way to go. All my maiden flights are a little nose heavy and then I will start to play and sometimes it left that becomes it fle great. Well not much more to go.

Not much done since the last post, had to go to town with the wife. But, the batteries are in, as well as the dual battery pin flag, the ignition, IBEC, and the receiver. One thing I really like about the dual battery pin flag other than no switch is the leads are long enough to get good separation between the Rx and ignition while keeping the batteries up front.

I don’t care what anyone says, that’s one sharp looking biplane!!

Glad to hear it as so do I. So much so the only graphics going on it is the Ultimate 20-300 and Aeroworks, as seen in the pic. I did not want anything taking away from the lines on this one.
