IMAC Build: Dalton Extra 300

It's been a while since I've really done anything with the Dalton. Work has been getting the way and I had to travel for an overnight trip yesterday.

Anyways, I ordered a set of headers for a GP 176 in case I go that route. They are the MTW knuckle headers.

I can always sell them and get headers for a DA if I go that route, but these were the last specific GP headers.

I'm hoping to start working on the hatch this weekend but we will see what happens.

Got my EF Edge finished up and I did a little work to the Dalton today. Didn't get as much as would have liked and I'll hopefully get the pics up tomorrow (Monday).

Finally got around to getting the pics from the weekend off of my phone. I had to do a lot of traveling the previous 2 days so I haven't had a chance to get out to the shop.

What I'm working on is getting the plane set up for the Smooth Pipes. I first estimated where my header would be with the pipe in the tunnel. I measured again and from the first fuse former to the front of the cowling is 13 5/8". This helped me figure out where I can attach the rear pipe mount to a former. It looks like I should be able to mount the front mount to a former as well but I need to figure out the best way to do that in case I need to adjust it's height. The rear is pretty much a perfect fit with very little room for adjustment so I will probably just leave it as is.
