Pilot RC 107" Extra 330SC

I like 'em "BIG"!
Now that you mention it, I believe the ones on my 107 Edge are clear. (she's got 47 flights on her now.... I do like keeping logs, hee hee) My 50cc Edge had over a hundred flights on it when I sold it. Not a problem one. "BUT", my sons...same plane, different scheme....lost an elevator hinge mid flight. Fortunately the outter hinge is pinned and it saved him. In fact, the ones on the big Yak are also clear. That was a major concern for me when I did the strip down and recover on it. I tugged and pulled and pried... (pretty much a tug of war) before I was satisfied they weren't coming out. Not sure why my clear hinges are staying put.

Are you guys that have good success with the pilot RC hinges by chance running the clear hinges? The grey hinges are stout, the clear hinges are junk for me.

As I said he made a switch just a short while back to the clear and those are the weaker ones. He is now going back to the better hinges. If you need hinges to replace the clear just contact him.

I break out a small thin tipped sharpie, a flexible metal ruler, and a measuring tape like those used for sewing and home craft projects. And of course I have some RapidTac so if I need to re-position I can.

What do you use Joe?
