Probably committing a cardinal sin slapping an Eflite motor into an Extreme Flight airframe but it’s what I got. Now to sell some stuff to afford servos for it.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting it in the air. Got a couple motor and ESC combos I can try in it but will have to order servos. I know they used to design all their 48" birds around a HS85mg but this one is setup for HS70's which are the same size almost as your standard 9 gram foamie servo.

Cool. The guy that cut my parts I had to factor the offsets into my files.

I was the postman by picking this up but should be fun. 48” V2 extreme flight edge. The engineering that went into these things is amazing.

Looks nice snoopy. Did you have to account for the laser kerf in your files or did your laser guy do that?

Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% PA-28 Cherokee Build

Festool is pricy. I know one of the guys I used to follow all of his builds on over on FG had a big belt sander for his business that he used when laying up sheeting

How big is the plane? Honestly though being a glider using covering as a hinge should work just fine. I have done it on a few of my smaller 3D Profiles with success. And I would do it the opposite way though like our DLG's are done. bevel the top and let it hinge from the bottom so if you want...

I love it when the Laser cutting guy emails and says the wood you sent showed up a little while ago. The parts are now boxed up and ready to send back.

It looks awesome thats for sure. Seems to be a fair price for how big of a biplane it is.

Thats nice that his software does that. The guy that will be cutting for me has had his laser for well over 15 years at this point and is probably still running older software. I know the guy I had CNC Router cut me some parts had software that could do it. He just needed me to color code the...

Yes sir for sure takes time. I have well over 100 hrs in this one. And getting it ready for laser cutting takes even longer as I have to offset all my lines to compensate for the cut of the laser.

Very nice @Snoopy1. Funny I have been working on a design as well. This is a slightly scaled up version of the ChubCub that I designed many years ago. Designed it with two wing options and both use the same root rib so both wings can be built and changed out. I think the Hershey bar style wing...
