    Savox for EF 104 Extra

    I just "built" one. Since I had 4 Futaba BLS-157's, I used those on the ailerons, but used a single Savox 2231 on the rudder (push-pull) and a pair of 2270's on the elevators. On my servo torque tester (2S Lipo powered), the -157's pulled ~31 pounds (with a 1 inch arm, that equals ~495 oz-in)...

    No the 2 output leads are combined into one Deans. One Deans in, one out. It is not my idea, the Castle guy at the WRAM show suggested it. It works great!

    With the snakeskin, I use a dab of Welders to tack the harness down in the corners up and out of the way.. If a repair or servo replacement is necessary, you just pull it up.
