Hope the weather holds out for the weekend. Right now the forecast looks awesome for hanging out and blowing some holes in the sky!

    AJ 93" Laser Reflex build/assembly!!!

I think that color scheme is the best one so far.

Man that covering job looks like glass-very nice. Nice scheme too. I bet that orange is easy to see on those rough days when the clouds try to swallow up other colors. Is that a DLE 30 on there?

I know a guy that works with him. I will see if he can get a message to him.

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017

Great choice. I went to gas some years ago and never looked back. Best move I had made in many years.

Yep, went to CVRC and what a great time we had. Rick and I usually park our trailers together and Chris parks next to us and we got Don on the other side. We put all our canopies in a line so we can easily shoot the bull or course probably more trouble-making that bull shooting. A lady fixed...

I know about 5 or us are planning to come down. We were talking about it before we left the flying field today.

I think you could have put some dollar general store field monokote (packing tape) on that and flew it some more ;)

Yep, I plan to be there. No problem with a landing fee at all. Looking forward to it.

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017

Yikes, pain is pain yet some hits the bank account much harder! I ditched my fave fiddy cc bird at an even in August and I have had that plane for around 5 years I think. Someone needs to create balsa that flexes under impact.

You can sure tell the difference in the caps. Now that I have the DLE cap on it is really a tight fit.

    3D MOJO 65 w/20cc Build

I was flying my MOJO last weekend and noticed a miss on the RCGF 26cc engine that kept getting worse. I landed the plane and inspected and noticed the spark plug cap was loose almost to the point of falling off. It looks as if the silicone inside the cap was worn so bad that it doesn't even hold...

    3D MOJO 65 w/20cc Build

I see the MOJO 65 kits had solid stab center section. I wonder if building that like the elevator would have been too weak? Seems like that would greatly lighten the tail end and you see other slabs build open. I noticed the solid piece used on mine was heavy.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Takes both sides to make the coin whole. I try harder than ever now days to see the whole coin from all angles and not assume things. I have been on both sides as customer and business owner. I was on the business side for most of my life and have learned a lot of lessons. There are some...

    Let’s Talk Fuel Lines!

Yep, great points. I bought some one time that was not the same as well. It was not pliable and had a hardness about it you could tell was different. I used it for fill lines and in places that did not make a difference.

    Let’s Talk Fuel Lines!

Good information. When I switched to Viton years ago, I never looked back. It is fantastic and the only time I did check it, it was as if I just installed it that day. All of the other lines I have used over the years have been mostly a waste of hard earned money.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Well, I pulled out the sweet running DA 100 on the Hangar 9 35% Extra 260 and slapped the ballistic DA 120 in it. Wasn't bad change out at all. Had to add 1/4 inch spacers to the back of the motor mounts as the DA 120 is 1/4 shorter. I did move my batteries up closer to the front. Canisters did...
