Twisted Hobbys - 30" EPP Crack Pitts M12 Biplane

Here's a quick foggy video of mine. (the lens on my iphone is all buggered up, sorry about that) I love this plane! http://youtu.be/tDWoLGUFKw4

    74" Edge 540

That y-connector should be just fine. The only benifit to using the switch is that you don't have to pull part and re-connect your connectors all of the time. It's not a big deal, but connectors do wear out over time. The badger also has a charge jack to charge so you again don't have to...

    74" Edge 540

It's a shame that aero-model is out of stock of the 6XS. (and out of of stock of the Q80-8M...but that's a different story) The extra weight of the 5S (vs 6XS) will help...I have the 6XS on 6S 5000s and I need to add some nose weight. I'm not sure of the 5S on 8S, but I know that Joey really...

Can I ask for clarification on why you strongly prefer the ZTW?

    74" Edge 540

You need more info. What prop you use plays the most important role in the amps that you'll pull. Also, the 300kv is the 8S wind. I don't think you'll be happy on 6S with a 300kv motor.

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

Yeah man, trust us...Slicks are HUGE for their size. (not sure about the 59...I've not played with one) but the 71 and the 89 DWARF comparable airframes. That's a big reason (pun intended) I always recommend the 51 for a first balsa 3d plane (if you can afford it)...it flies so much bigger...

The Slick is significantly bigger then the Velox. The Slick is also about 1-2 lbs heavier.

    Recommendations - EF or PA

Is that on 5S or 6S? I've owned a V1 and loved it.

    Pilot Yak 19% (53")

So was the suggested CG in the manual way off or did you not see where it was before you flew?

    Hangar 9 Toledo Special

It's low tack white glue that reminds you of elmer's. It's funny because the last time I used some was on my Toledo Special! :D

103" Extra 330SC Building, Flying, and Questions

Only works with particular SBUS servos. For hitec you either use the hitec usb programmer or the hfp-25. Here is the s-link software : http://downloads.hobbico.com/software/fut/PC-Link.zip

103" Extra 330SC Building, Flying, and Questions

I'm using Futaba BLS175 SBUS servos all around except for a BLS172 on the rudder (Hitec 5665mh on throttle) and you need to use the S-Link software to program.

    3dhs 72 extra.

As long as the plane qualifies for the tournament, I absolutely think it is worthy. I think someone competed with a 70-71 once...(in the King 50)

Subtrim vs. Programmer for Centering Servos

A few things, and I can go on and on and on and on...but what I have learned is that there defintely is a law of dimishing returns when it comes to these things and even moreso as you go down in airframe size. First of all, the "closest to 90" is a myth. (it's *almost true, actually) Truth is...
