    Sport Little something different.....

I seriously contemplated going since I'm off of work during that time but I got too much going on to be able to make. I'm putting that event on my radar for next year though.

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

I gotya, pretty much what I was thinking. I haven't gotten comfortable enough to fly without checking each pack separately after a charge and with the PL6 all batteries have been pretty much spot on thus far. I will keep an eye out though and will have an icharger 206 in that case as well...

Beginner Giant Scale RC Questions, Let's hear them

I'm the same way, not much choice for ethanol free. I try to find a gas station that's always busy so that you know their gas is not sitting unused for long periods of time before you get it.

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

I'm not understanding how a cell can end up greater than 4.2V, not saying it isn't happening, just not understanding and would like to as I was planning on getting a 30cc setup on 12s in the near future. I usually only see 5-10mV difference when charging in parallel even. Trying to figure...

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

I'm really digging the pl6. The open spot in my case is for a PL8 in the future if I ever need anything bigger than the 6.

    Which smoke pump

That is what I hated about the sullivan as well so I sold it to a warbird guy :) I only run smoke on rare occasions cause its a pain. I do do it on like every flight with my jet though, nothing to clean up there but man that thing can eat up some smoke fluid.

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

Dang I would have done my charge case a little differently had I known about the bump controller. But that is pretty sweet, just watched a video about it and I have an old android tablet just laying around the house collecting dust that could be used with it. HMM...I see a redesign happening...

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

777's are the best bang for the buck in my opinion. I'm running those in all but one plane where I'm running a 380 on rudder and the x6 599's (380 equivalent but with standard 25T spline) everywhere else. The brushless are noticeably faster but I don't know if they are noticeably worth an...

    Brand New PAU........Viper-ST Announced!!!!!!!!

Cool, surprised we never crossed paths. I fly mainly at Ft Bend and every once in a while at Scobee. I'll be on the lookout for your Viper around Houston. I was lucky enough to get a chance on the stick with Terry's a couple of months ago, really nice flying machine!

    Which smoke pump

The only two pumps I've run are sullivan and harris. I prefer the harris out of those two. I do have a holy smokes installed in my Pau 540T at the moment but have not gotten around to actually firing it up other than some preliminary programming when I put the plane together. I'm hoping to...

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

That's a nice thought for a smoke alarm. I thought about getting one to keep around for when I charge inside my house but I'm 99.9% of the time in same room if any charging is going on. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to these things and have one of them electrical engineering degree paper...

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

So I recently got bitten by the electric bug and broke down and bought an EF 64" MXS. Anyways, up until that point I only had a Hitec x4 charger for rx batteries and such and needed a better solution for charging some bigger batteries. Here's what I came up with. Its powered by two 12V 900...
