    PAU Owners Thread

Almost sounds as if you're still on the verge of flying on the wing. I fly with around 38 degrees on the ailerons (don't know what that translates to in mm on the edge but it gives me a roll rate that I like) and have found the edge to be very stable and easy to steer.

    Fuel proof sealant

I've used seal all and only put it around the bottom thread. Seams to work okay. Just like using teflon for pipe fittings, you don't want to go above the top thread or it ends up in your system.

If you had $1000.00 to spend on a charger and power supply, what would you buy?

How many of these did you drink before your batteries became unbalanced ??? :)

If you had $1000.00 to spend on a charger and power supply, what would you buy?

I actually ended up with 2 ec5 para boards, 1 is from buddy rc and the other from progressive rc. I also have one for deans which came from buddy rc and 2 for jst (for foamies) from progressive. I just got them depending on where I was ordering from at the time. Mine are just the basic ones...

If you had $1000.00 to spend on a charger and power supply, what would you buy?

I upgraded from the hitec x4 to the pl 6 a few months ago and at the time I had just gotten one of the 60" ef planes. Prior to that, all I had was 2s rx batteries, a dozen or so foamy batteries and a couple of 3s batteries for park fliers. To charge a single 6s battery for the new electric...

If you had $1000.00 to spend on a charger and power supply, what would you buy?

Dang I see the bump controller is already up for pre-order with a pl6 combo....hmmm :ooh?: Edit: And now its ordered :) Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to get a bump controller, if the first run hasn't sold out, to start playing with.

If you had $1000.00 to spend on a charger and power supply, what would you buy?

Ditto. I wish I would have known about the bump controller when I built my case a couple of moons ago. I'm digging my power lab 6 though and running an 1800 watt hp server power supply. A buddy I work with just purchased a cnc plasma cutter and for fun I may redo my charger case some time...

Plane Stand Pro - fuselage stand.

Okay...Okay...I thought I could do without one but now that I have a little bit more of a dedicated work space I "need" one...do you have any cut or plans to cut any soon Terry? I have a demonstrator waiting on me at the house and I think it needs to be assembled using a @Terryscustom plane stand.

    PAU Owners Thread

Cool thanks. I think the elevators are 3-1/12 but if I'm not mistaken the ailerons were shorter?

If you have a local fastenal they might have them. If not, McMaster Carr sales them though they aren't called nordlock by name on their site but they are indeed nordlocks.

    PAU Canopy bolts

Search for @Pistolera posts. He hinged a canopy on a krill I believe. I would suggest a pin and flag switch for cleanliness. Emcotec makes a fuel dot that is low profile and uses a probe, if you wanted to hide it underneath the plane you could.
