Orthobird, What did they do to the engine? Mine is one of the earlier (purchased 9/09) builds and not the latest. That is good to hear about the 150. It flew my 42 or 43LB AW Extra 300 pretty well and figured it would be even better on the lighter Sukhoi. Did you notice a MAH drop when the engine was swapped? I noticed an increase when the 170 was installed. BTW I hope no one gets the wrong...- jamesrxx951

Mine is just a tad over 40LBS. Running a DA 170 with RE3's, Mej spinner that is only a few ounces, 9 servos, 2 Pulse 5000 MAH lipos for receiver and 1 2600MAH Fromeco Li-ion for ignition power. I have the H9 40% Sukhoi. All cowl mounts broke free from the structure. The cowl is getting worn down in the bolt holes. To help it I used felt on the wood and red Loctite on the screws (blue would not keep them tight). I even bought rubber washers to help grip the cowl tighter to the airframe...- jamesrxx951

I have pretty much always had good results from DA. On several occasions I only had to pay for shipping there and had fast turn around. I did have a crash damaged 120 and I fully expected to pay for that and I did. The only bad experience to me involves my 170. I kept having RF related issues...- jamesrxx951

OK.. why is there a camping section?
Most of that stuff is not hard to work on however it really depends on the vast amount of covers it has on it and the space it was squeezed into. If your mechanically inclined and can remain calm during the work im sure your will be ok.- jamesrxx951

OK.. why is there a camping section?
Some friends of ours told my wife and I that a 36' Class A motorhome with 2 slides and a tempurpedic queen size bed with 2 A/C's is not camping. I strongly disagree.:smile-new: Actually my wife and I take a lot of trips over the summer to enjoy the outdoors.- jamesrxx951

Pulse lipo batteries for rx
Im using 2 5000 MAH versions in my 40% H9 Sukhoi. So far nothing but complete satisfaction. Heard of other users liking them also. But I will surely buy more of them as I need them.- jamesrxx951

Moving to High Voltage
I have been experimenting with my 40% H9 Sukhoi between 2 Fromeco 5200 MAH Li-ons and 2 5000 Pulse Lipo's. The telemetry does show a difference in in flight voltage. However not a huge difference.
