    10cc 3D gasser --- An exercise with a VH Sabre-X 51" and a Evolution 10GX

Just one thought - don't. That plane flies horribly for a profile. Plus the guy that designed and sold it has some history of being... well not the best. There are some old threads on theprofilebrotherhood.com about him and that plane. I helped destroy one of those in Memphis about 5-6 years...

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

I've thought about building one of these: http://www.alienaircraft.com/k501.htm I have the smaller version, and it is by far the best sea-plane I've had. Perfect water manners and a smooth flyer. I want more power... but then again I'm a 3d pilot, so I suppose that is to be expected! The power...

MEDIA BLITZ! (Fort Smith) Arkansas FLI

Speaking of the sunset shots from friday night, here is one of 12 year old Jaden Shumate hovering his 71" Slick. The iphone didn't like the low lighting, but it was the only camera I had handy...

Fort Smith Arkansas Fly Low In Sept. 19-22

rain forecast stinks. Was planning on leaving out at 8am, which would put me there by 10:30am. But with forecasted rain all day - what's the point of sitting around waiting for it to stop? Might just skip and stay home with the kiddos. Maybe day trip it on saturday instead.

    78'' Extra

blue gas ones were briefly in stock yesterday, but sold out again very quickly. You sure about that? Page says sold out when you click on Buy Now from the main 78 page. I ordered an electric one first thing this morning. Would have gotten a gas one yesterday if red ones were in stock, but no...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Naah, I'll keep the 88 for now, it's fun. Just not as much as a 78! Smoooooth is the word I would describe the 88 with. Not nearly as violent/throw around capable as the smaller 78 is. If you've seen Andrew Jesky fly, the plane would suit him. He is very graceful and smooth on the sticks. And...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

tell me about it... I waited to order my replacement one (first one died in a crash) when I saw them come back in, mainly b/c I just got a new 88" Extra and thought that would keep me happy. Well the 88 is no 78. It leaves me wanting more. The 78 was such a magical and fun plane that I find...

    -= SLiCKNeSS SiCKNeSS =-

so does the 71... have flown one extremely tailheavy, and it was easy as you please until you roll inverted and realize it's looping in about 50 feet. Would never have known it was tailheavy if I hadn't done that.

    78'' Extra

Take a look at this pic, they might fit. This is Hone1ER's, and I think his is the angled plug version. Not sure though.

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

I've ran a couple of 4330's, both 435kv, and on 6s, and on Slicks. The 435 is a really nice kv in that you get a choice in power on it. With an 18x10 you have a very quick plane. Great for high energy moves, pop tops, etc, are awesome. With a 19x8 you get a slower, but more thrust setup that...

    78'' Extra

That's what I'm afraid of. And why I think resistance is futile on the 78" Extra :) The next container comes to EF in about a week I think. I'm fairly sure my resolve will have fully weakened by then :D

    78'' Extra

Grrr... resolve weakening. must not spend 600 dollars for new extra.... :D

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

Note where I said above that I won't do full throttle blenders on 7x" planes... you now know why!! If you stay away from that one maneuver then I don't think you would ever have a problem on the stock setup.

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

From following the original 70" Slick thread on RCG (before it became the V2 and grew to a 71) all the way through today I can say that in 4 years or so of following that thread I have seen very very few reports of failures in that area. And when I say I follow that thread, I mean I've read or...

    3DHS 70" Velox

I'm truly amazed that this plane doesn't have more followers and popularity... it's one of my favorites. I wish I could get a 50cc version of it, would buy that in a heartbeat. It seems like the few that have it love it, but overall the thread(s) on the plane aren't as popular, and there isn't...

    78'' Extra

Ok, just stop. :) I miss mine severely! But am trying to be content with the planes I have and hold out for the 78" MXS rather than buy another of these to replace the one I killed... they are due back in stock soon I think, and the more I read you raving about how much you like it, the more...

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

I used to fit mine into an Infiniti G35 coupe. Not the 4 door one, a 2 door. You can definitely fit it into a Fusion! Lay passenger seat flat. nose goes into foot area of passenger seat, tail behind drivers seat.
