Got the interior kit in from Dynamic Balsa for the Cub. Will have a few evenings of shop time with out having to include motor junk :fist_pump:. Also found the prop I was wanting originally. It's a Falcon not Xoar.- 49dimes

@Travis Haney Let me clear up some things......Simply put.....Engine working harder more fuel consumed. Engine working less hard less fuel consumed. My use of adjective's was poor. Sorry for that. You mean you "other guys" . I personally suck hard these days and don't fly much at all. lol Still FUN to get out once in a while. But the summer really sucks down here. Hey Bart. Yes you are correct about air density and tight grouped air molecules in cool dry weather and how it affects tuning. I was explaining from how hard the engine works or is made to work (loading/resistance). The bigger prop is higher load (higher resistance) and makes the engine work...- 49dimes

The engine is going to work harder with a bigger prop. So working harder means more fuel ;) . Also know your engine works harder in warm humid conditions so again more fuel needed. Just the opposite in cool dry weather.- 49dimes

Since I can't get my Cub chugging at the moment I "updated" my buddies DLE60 twin to run a bit stronger. Very tempted to just throw the old DLE carb on the cub motor and see if it runs and tunes fairly decent . Think I will.......CUZ I CHEAP! lol And it's a CUB. A bigger prop is going to load the engine a bit more. I take it your running a Vess which are higher load props any way and just increasing the diameter 1 inch will be noticed. Try putting your needles back to 1.5 turns out and re tune for the bigger prop.- 49dimes

Since you got the fuse on the table now is the time to add some hard points for tuned pipe/canister mounts. Not only does the engine performance really perk up but the look of a pipe or can running down the bottom of a profile says "All Business" :big-grin:.- 49dimes

You build light and a 60 is way overkill. DA50 is more than enough. Heck....My DL50 throws a 20 pounder around. If you want to take a bit of "shake" out of the 50 just retard the timing a small amount and swing a 23x8 something. "Sweet Slumbering Suckatash!!! Batman! There be fire breathing...- 49dimes
