You know David.....I think a bit more is going on when you pay 30 for something and get a 15 something. And of course policy actually gives more rights to the guy thinking he can take you buy giving them the opportunity to make it look like an error or mistake. Tries to make us look stupid. And...

Not sure.....But he will know once it is in his hands and can measure the wingspan. It's definitely an Extreme Flight plane. Just not sure if it's one of the proto's.

@Bartman You may have stumbled on to one of the original proto-types. I'm trying to recall my conversation with him all those years ago but I do remember him saying that the plane (the one that looks just like the one in your pic) was a proto and not for sale. He said a 42" is coming in two...

I think your right it being an Extreme Flight. First time I went to Perry and met Chris he was shining one up with Eagle One wax. It was red and white and had the Aero Shell stickers on it like the one in your picture. I believe it was a 36" wingspan. Was the start of his EXP series.

Well I decided to try something a bit different when I paint the dash for the cub. The "Cub Kit" included a dash for a Taylor-craft (Very similar). I used it to make an overlay to spray the silver paint and form dial rings. I am also going to use tiny screws (4 for each gage) instead of spot...

    DA50 help

I think I may have scared the poor fella off :(. Hope not. On a side note.....The DLE60 I did the top end work on had a starting tune of 1.5 turns out both HS LS needles. It ran for the first time since overhaul and flew that way on a day when it was about 62 degrees and 40% RH. You could tell...

Being an ex-Futaba guy I think you can get a super fast 7ms frame rate with all digital servos being used. HS mode I believe. With my Spektrum 11ms is the fastest I can get.

That's EXACTLY what I did today with this cheap 26cc Edge. Take off to hover and torque roll :fist_pump:. Because I'm not nervous and don't mind getting a little risky with it. Had a window of opportunity before it rained today.

Ok Rob I see your issue now and the need to remove TE material on the upper and probably lower side as well ;). You know I only look at pictures! Why you did not do that to begin with is beyond me  . . I was thinking of getting rid of the current hinge system all...

If this helps.........Your going to have to make some hinge knuckles out of hard wood that mate and align the holes for the wire. Slot the existing hard points to epoxy these "knuckles" in place and that they are set back a bit from the grooved pocket in the wing and stabs to get the throw you...

Yes the dash is getting painted flat black with silver trim rings. I have to take the wind screen back off for access for painting flat black up front too. Lots to be done. The deck in the cabin will be treated with seven 1/8" strips of cut sandpaper (reddish orange color})about 12" long to...

Started trimming away all the flashing from the plastic parts and even got the dash cut out to fit. Thought it appropriate to have a hot engine light under the oil temp and pressure gauge :cautious:.

What's gurls ??? Oh! I remember! Those things that remind me why I have a heart condition :ooh?:. Just build it man!. Does look like a nice plane. How much throw do you get with the elevator hinges as is ? Are the ailerons done the same?
