I designed my own system years ago and improved upon it ever since, and have never ever had a failure as such, crashing is something if you get my drift ,

that's great, another thing you might want to consider on large airplanes the seperation of both batteries , you still have the negative wire connected together, which means a bad servo can still feed back to the rx and cause a failsafe on the rx, what I do for this is use fiber optic servo...

Remember what I told you about Sbus. it can't handle any loads so you do have to use a system to seperate the receiver battery and the servo battery,

beautiful , but I'm sure you can use less servos for this, since this is not a 3D airplane, keep up the good work

With today's super powerful servos, why would you not consider less servos The Blue bird comes to mind with around 750 oz of torque, which would be more then enough with one servo per aileron By the way, what are you building

Harp away, no worries, I designed the transmitter with SolidWorks, then sent the files to a company in China where they CNC'd it and anadized it for me. then I took my original Taranis apart and re installed in this casing, mind you the design was to accommodate the Taranis electronics. The...

hmmmm are you serious or joking LOL , in case you are serious, with Sbus, you will get 16 channels , but using Sbus, you will need to power the servos seperately, since all 16 channels will go through a single 22 gauge wire, . so Sbus for signal only But by your description, I strongly...

Thank you for the compliment, As for the FrSky radio its the best system I have ever used, and I was using Multiplex for more then 35 years. The FrSky system offers the most powerful programming ever, full telemetry which I am taking advantage of, and there receivers are bullet proof. For...

decided the aluminum tail wheel was way too stiff, so back to the drawing board and made in fiberglass, Carbon fibre is also too stiff, so no go on this, the pictures here is not the finished unit but close, will have to paint it black to represent spring steel
